In 2011, after working in the field of Biotechnology for twelve years I fell in love with a toy poodle named Maggie and my passion for dog grooming was revealed. I took a course on dog grooming at the local college and opened deTails Dog Grooming later that year. With more knowledge came an interest to compete, so I started down that path in 2014. In 2017 I completed my Master Groomer with NDGAA and then CPPS here in Canada. I have been in the Top 10 for Groom Team Canada for several years. My small business has grown from a small home-based business into two locations: deTails Dog Grooming. I always focus on education since learning never stops. I am also an international certified dermatological groomer. Skin and coat health has always fascinated me and has really changed a great deal about my grooming practice.
